Terms and Conditions for Payment
1. Payment Structure
Upon agreement to proceed with our services, the payment will be divided as follows:
- 50% Upfront Payment: A deposit of 50% of the total agreed fee is required to confirm the booking. This payment must be made prior to the event.
- Remaining Balance: The remaining 50% of the total agreed fee is due two weeks after the event date. An invoice for the remaining balance will be issued, and payment must be completed within 14 days of the invoice date.
2. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. All payments must be processed in EUR (Euros) or GBP (British Pounds), depending on the applicable currency.
3. Confirmation of Booking
Your booking will only be confirmed once the upfront payment has been received. Until this payment is made, Salt n Pepper Marketing and Business Development reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
If the event is cancelled by the client:
- Cancellation more than two weeks (14 days) prior to the event: The upfront payment will be refunded in full.
- Cancellation two weeks (14 days) or less prior to the event: The upfront payment is non-refundable.
If the event is cancelled by Salt n Pepper Marketing and Business Development for reasons beyond our control (e.g., force majeure), a full refund of the upfront payment will be provided.
5. Late Payment
If the remaining balance is not received within 14 days after the event, a late fee of 5% of the outstanding amount will be charged for every 7 days overdue. If payment is not received within 30 days, legal action may be taken to recover the amount owed.
6. Adjustments and Changes
Any changes to the original agreement must be communicated and agreed upon in writing by both parties. If the scope of services changes after the upfront payment has been made, the remaining balance may be adjusted accordingly.
7. Additional Costs
In the event of additional costs arising from the client’s specific requirements or changes requested after the agreement is made, these will be added to the final invoice and must be paid in full before the event date or within the 14-day period after the event.
8. Legal Agreement
By proceeding with your booking and submitting the upfront payment, you agree to these payment terms and conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Barcelona, Catalunya.
